Is Link And Zelda In Love?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is no dating game, but it doesn’t lack for romance.

Link experiences the platonic love of giant horses and dogs throughout his adventure — as well as the affections of two fishlike creatures, whom everyone really wants to date in real life.

Princess Zelda is believed by many to be the love interest of Link in the Legend of Zelda series. She first appeared in The Legend of Zelda for the NES in 1987. However, each game features different incarnations of Link and Zelda, but so far, nothing has truly been proven.

Nintendo has never officially shown Zelda and Link as a couple, just friends. But why? Fans ship them, the story hints at it, but they are never shown romantically together.

Like I can understand Mario and Peach not having a mouth to mouth kiss because its like a Saturday Morning cartoon and she kisses him on the cheek or nose. But Link and Zelda are romantically paired in many Zelda games and they have never kissed.

We know both Mipha and Zelda are romantically attracted to Link. Kass’s song at the end highly suggests it, and Zelda’s body language when she’s talking to the Deku tree gave me the impression that she wanted to tell Link she loved him. Mipha’s goes without saying, they pretty much shove it in your face.

Midna obviously has a crush on Link, but I don’t think Link ever realized she did. If he did, it was right before she left, but I highly doubt he ever developed feelings for her. He’s completely in love with Ilia. That’s made very clear in the story.

It’s pretty well impossible to avoid talking about Link’s romantic life without discussing Princess Zelda, the woman he has saved countless times throughout different locations, time periods, and even universes. If there is one woman who is inextricably, uh, linked to Link, it’s the Hyrulean princess herself.

Among them was a simple inquiry regarding Link’s last name. According to Miyamoto, it’s “Link.” Yes, the hero of time’s official full name is Link Link.

Two, Link clearly has a relationship with Zelda that begins before and ends after his relationship with Mipha, making love a little difficult. Finally, like Princess Ruto, she declares Link to be her husband of choice!

What’s the hardest Zelda game?

So I’ll give you my personal list and we’ll see what other people have to say.

  • AoL – this game is easily the hardest Zelda game because it’s ridiculously cheap.
  • BotW – this game starts of brutal.
  • Zelda 1 – room full of blue darknuts.
  • ALttP – once you hit the dark world, the number of game overs increases a lot.

Link to the Past Link defeats the strongest incarnation of Ganon, who possesses all three triforce pieces (which I don’t think happens anywhere else in the series). He also has the largest arsenal of items, and the most experience, appearing in 4 games (LttP, AoL, and the Oracle games).

But Paya has a crush on Link, and you can read it in her diary. It’s just a crush of a young girl on an hero.

No, Navi went to the temple of time secret dungeon at the end of OOT, Link was looking in the wrong place. Few things satisfy like a puzzle solved! It is not known if Link found Navi. He was searching when he got caught up in the events of MM.

Any version of Link and Zelda can get married (and some likely do; SS and BotW are my fav examples). Breath of the Wild is odd.

However, Zelda is often more capable than Link. She uses a unique array of weapons—and we’re sure she could master Link’s weapons if given the opportunity. Link may be strong, but Zelda’s equally—if not more—powerful.

The only reason OoT Link came out so well groomed and proportioned is his wife was complaining about the lack of attractive heroes and so he designed that Link based on her specifications. He was still short in OoT. The redesign was because he looked like ass and Miyamoto’s wife pointed that out.

Link is often said to be the hero chosen by the gods. This may be meant to indicate the Golden Goddesses, or perhaps other deities. In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Link is the chosen hero of the Goddess Hylia, specifically.
